How we use cookies and tracking technologies

SubJolt Cookie Policy

Last Updated: April 1, 2026

This policy explains how SubJolt uses cookies, localStorage, and similar technologies on SubJolt.com and through our embeddable widget. For details on what data we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small data files stored in your browser. localStorage and sessionStorage are similar browser storage mechanisms that allow websites to store data locally. We use these technologies for the following purposes:

  • Strictly necessary — required for account login and security. These cannot be disabled.
  • Functionality — remember your preferences and settings.
  • Analytics — help us understand site performance and usage patterns. Set only with your consent where required by law.

SubJolt Widget Storage (on Customer Websites)

The SubJolt cancel flow widget, when installed on a Customer's website, uses browser localStorage on that website's domain. The widget does not set cookies.

sj-wizard-tsPrevents redundant setup wizard runsTimestamp only5 minutes (sessionStorage)

Note for SubJolt Customers: because the widget stores data in localStorage on your website's domain, we recommend disclosing this in your own cookie or privacy policy. End users can clear this data at any time via their browser settings.

Cookie Consent

When you first visit SubJolt.com, a cookie consent banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent as they are required for the Service to function.

  • Accept: Google Analytics and HubSpot analytics cookies will be set to help us understand site usage and improve your experience.
  • Decline: only strictly necessary cookies are used. No analytics data is collected.

You can change your preference at any time by clicking “Cookie Settings” in the footer of any page. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.

Cookie Control

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. You can also use these opt-out tools:

Note: If you disable strictly necessary cookies or clear localStorage, some features (such as staying logged in or cached subscription lookups) may not function properly.
